Just to prove that I'm at least half-decent as a traditional artist. This is concept art for a creature I am working on. I plan to go into more detail on it, maybe add in some coloring with gimp, though I haven't decided what the skin pattern should be. Put it in Scraps because, it's not really my best. Though it is my first, and therefore best, attempt at drawing an alien largely from my own imagination. I did take some inspiration from various sources.

I do have a loose background for the creature, meaning I have thought about how it came to be from an evolutionary standpoint somewhat. If you wish to know, you may ask. If enough people ask, I will put it in this area.

I have updated this after brainstorming it with a friend. We have also been working on the story/world around it.
