I don't watch Pokemon so I don't know which came before the other but wow that looks to similar I did know about that Pokemon and seen a side by side of frieza i new about that but wow

While the names were inspired from other shows n games the appearance wise can say a lot of things XD funny how they kept the Frieza scheme colors the same but the appearance slightly altered to show similar traits to other DBZ villains

While I see Where You are coming from, I don't think DBZ had a Hand in inspiring the Designs of Mewtwo.
If You were to look up Mewtwo comparisons to a Character who (*Due to complications in Regards to having two different translators working on translating the first two games*) has three names.
The Names are Gyiyg, Giegue & Giygas. This Character came from a Trilogy of Nintendo video games called "MOTHER" (*or "Earthbound" as it is Known in the US*) with the first game in Japan in July 27, 1989 (*The First Pokémon Game was Released in February 27, 1996 in Japan* )

The second one should have been adult Buu. He had the long noodle head at one Transformation

I thought of that but really he and Kid Buu have the same length unless it's Gohan fused Buu, so I decided to just go with Kid Buu since he's short in stature like Mewtwo Y.
