Note: This is just my opinion.So Sonic Adventure. The game that marks Sonic's first true jump into the third dimension. Nowadays, people like to shit on this (and its sequel) for not aging well (and because a certain game in the modern era). Ok, I will admit that the game has aged in terms of presentation, it's more unstable in ports (GC, PS3, 360, etc...), and half of the game (Gamma, and especially Amy and Big) have no purpose other than to have different styles of gameplay. (Seriously, what does fishing have to do with platforming?) But Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and even Gamma are enjoyable, and the music is KICK-ASS! Don't listen to Game Grumps, Sonic Adventure is still an enjoyable game.

Agreed. Fck Game Grumps, never liked them. Even at their best (in '06) they feel like they're tryharding. I prefer the casual sort, like Somecallmejohnny on his gaming channels SGB and BSC, and Chuggaaconroy.

On a side note, I can't wait for them to get to future Sonic games. As well as the other Sony games to. (Sly 4, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando, and Spyro.

And you know what? There's only one thing, JUST ONE THING, that ruins that game for. The motion controls, fine, they work. The mission based structure, gets repetetive but I don't mind. The skill system, a bit tacked on but I can work with it. The disorienting camera shifts, it's fine, I can take hits. The constant forward motion, that's fine, I played Sonic Dash.
It's the fcking jumping controls.
Who thought it was a good idea to make Sonic jump on button RELEASE when literally EVERY FCKING PLATFORMER jumps on button PRESS? It disrupts my flow completely and I can't fcking stand it.

You wanna know what's even more fucked up though? Secret Rings actually has Gamecube controller support........................................... For the party mode.

I wished it had Gamecube controller support for both the Story mode and the Party mode. Sonic & The Secret Rings, in my personal opinion, was pretty decent (if you just ignore the horrid motion controls). Great graphics for its time (was the best looking Wii game at the time), story is pretty good, Sonic's expressions and character development, etc.
