Description
Lineart byRandom page from a Bionicle GN I colored way back in Dec.
Nothing really special to say about this page. I just really liked how the Skrall army turned out in the final panel. Gotta hand it to Sayger, when they said "random agori" in the script, he goes crazy and just invents all kindsa little crazy Bionicle thingymajigs.
I'll probably only post 1 or 2 more pages from this story. Don't wanna show too much. I do have another Bionicle story I worked on where I had to ghost another colorist. I could post some of those, but it's ghost work. I really don't wanna post something that isn't "me".
I got to do a lot of experimenting with this book. Colorwise, I really didn't have any restraints. All I was asked to do was make sure to keep the characters a specific color. That really allowed me to have fun playing with the colors. I seem to do some of my personal favorite stuff when the editors just turn me loose and say "Just have fun with it."
The GN itself will be out sometime within the next week or two. I'll probably post another page or two between now and then.

Very nice work! I also agree that it's nice to see the line art before it's colored vs. the finished product. It really shows us how much work you put into a page!

Though you did a great job as usual, I must confess I was blow blown away by the textures Sayger used in the robots

It's always interesting to see such images prior to and post-coloring. I always wanted to see this particular style in simple b&w, for example.
Still, the colors are what make the whole thing complete, and these -- like the other submissions -- turned out great.
