Description
I felt the need to make a celebrity oc. I regret nothing-
hopefully he looks alright //wheeze
Name: Kachan Ito(goes by the stage name Hikaru)
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual
Race: Asian(Japanese)
Height: 6’1”
Location: Tokyo, Japan - Team Asia
Alias: Yōsei
Motivation: Kachan’s life has become a bit hectic as of late. He uses his miraculous and hero work as a way to de-stress.
Miraculous Pair: Unknown
Typical Heroism: Usually he just likes to show up if anyone else on team Asia is having trouble. He likes to be a helping hand more than an independent hero.
Hero Theme: Sort of a glittery popstar kind of look
Kwami Type: Alpine Black Swallowtail Butterfly
Miraculous: Earrings
Tool: Wings - He can use them to glide and stuff, but that’s about it. Could probably kick you real hard, though.
Special: The Dream of Akinosuke - the user opens their mouth and a butterfly flutters out. This butterfly serves as a vessel for the user, allowing them to essentially “spirit walk” wherever they please without being noticed. This can be used to spy on people, go places without actually going places, etc. The downside is that the user’s body will remain in a sleep-like state, meaning they’ll have to go someplace safe before using the ability. The person will only wake up when the butterfly returns to the user’s mouth. If the butterfly is killed whilst still away from the user, the user will wake up regardless, though their transformation will time out immediately.
Personality:
Caring
Creative
Patient
Persistent
Flamboyant
Extroverted
When off stage, though...
Rather reserved
Super empathetic
Not the bravest boy
Impulsive
Tries to be modest(probably too modest), despite the fame sometimes going to his head occasionally
Still a caring, persistent, creative, and flamboyant boyo tho
Bio: Kachan was born and raised in rural Kyoto, Japan, living with his mother, father, and grandmother in the same house. His early life consisted of helping around the house with chores. And even from a young age, he showed some talent when it came to singing. When he was 12, he started trying to write songs on his own. Some were mediocre at best, but his parents and grandmother were still proud of him. When he was around 14, a letter came in the mail. An invitation, from a music agency, to some auditions they were holding in Tokyo. Turns out, his grandmother sent an application without his knowing. While his mother was understandable upset(Where will he stay? What happens if he gets in and he has to leave home? What if he doesn't want to be in the music industry?), little Kachan was excited. His grandmother calmed down his mother, saying that a talented boy like him would be fine out in the big scary world that was... downtown Tokyo.
It was one of the first times he'd stayed up writing a song of his own. Once the next morning came, his family went with him on the train to Tokyo. The new city was big, crowded, and rather scary for a boy who'd really only grown up in rural Kyoto. There were so many other kids there, and so many other talent people at this thing. As such, it was a bit of a surprise when he was one of the kids that was chosen. Him and his family knew what this meant: he was a trainee. It was one of his first steps on the way to fame, and soon he tearfully said goodbye to his family and moved to Tokyo to pursue his career. Everything else regarding his life up until now happened all so fast.
He debuted as a soloist when he was 16, deciding to go under the named Hikaru to distance himself from his stage persona(and make it more dramatic, I suppose). Pretty soon he was one of the more well known JPop stars of the time. He wasn't the best by far, but he was up there. He started his arguably more lively career one day after performing at a charity event for Ashinaga, when someone left something backstage for him. A box, with a pair of earrings inside, as thanks from an single mother for helping out a charity that would be supporting her and her family. He thought it was a sweet gift. The moment he brought it back to his place to try them on, a little someone came out and greeted him: a pretty little butterfly-looking creature that frightened him so badly that he nearly fell off his bed.
After a brief introduction from the little creature, he found out that her name was Fookoo, and she wasn't the only one of her kind. Quite a few people in the world had powers thanks to her kind. He spent the evening figuring out how to use his newfound powers/magic, which was more difficult than he'd bargained for but what can you do? Kachan figured out pretty quickly that he'd be leading a bit of a triple life now. And with that, he'd need yet another name to distance himself from yet another persona. He went with a name inspired by something that happened when he first met Fookoo:
He mistook her for a Yosei.
Kwami Name: Fookoo
Kwami's Favorite food: Manju
Brief Kwami History: Honestly? There’s not a whole lot to say about Fookoo’s history. The only notable thing is that she was passed around in the Edo period, having multiple holders in the span of the period, as she’d become seen as a symbol of good luck. Then she fell into the hands of a single mother struggling to raise her children. She figured the JPop star raising money for people like her would be a better for for it...
Kwami's Personality:
Sweetie
Overly optimistic
Airheaded
Superstitious
Easily frightened
Caring
Extras:
- Wears sunglasses and a beanie to cover his hair when he's in public. Due to the fact that he has very recognizable hair, the moment that hat comes off he pretty much runs
- Dyes his hair a lot, but keeps it in the same half-shaven style. The only thing about his hair that's never constant is its color.
Headcanons:
Voice Claim: Kradness
Actually pretty good at cooking, and learned it from his mother and grandmother. When he's not busy with music stuff, he'll cook for himself whenever he can.
Loves glitter and anything sparkly, but doesn't wear anything of the sort in public since he thinks people will find it obnoxious.
