Weapons and Abilities:

-Monstrous strength allows Split-Face to bully monsters bigger and heavier than him with ease.

-Thick segmented armor skin makes Split-Face almost impervious to blunt-force trauma and generally makes him hard to injure.

-Horns on head are ideal for ramming enemies.

-Spiked club tail for battering enemies from behind.

-Sensory organ on face allows Split-Face to track enemies for miles. Specifically homes in on certain pheromones emitted by prey or foes.

-Able to symbiotically “combine” with Bolt-Head to form Megavolt Split-Face. Achieved by Bolthead inserting rod-like spines into special glands on Split-Face’s arms, legs and back, enabling them to be neurally connected to one another. In this state, Split-Face will effectively be “wearing” Bolthead like a powered exoskeleton. Split-Face’s strength increases by 2x and gains all of Bolthead’s electrical abilities.

Threat Assessment: Split-Face is an extremely aggressive creature that will attempt to attack and kill almost anything it considers to be worthy prey. Sometimes, Split-Face will attack and fight other monsters simply for sport. Humans are not excluded from the category, and Split-Face seems to revel in destruction of human settlements.

Weaknesses:

-Split-Face will retreat if he is greatly outmatched by an enemy. Very rarely will he stay and fight to the end in these scenarios.

-The sensory organ that gives the monster his name is a weak point that when attacked, could cause a sensory overload that will stun and injure Split-Face.

History:

Split Face, together with it’s symbiote Bolt Head, were a brutish duo that spent their days picking fights with other denizens of The Subterrain either for food or simply for pure sport. To give themselves an advantage in combat, Split-Face could wear Bolt Head like a sort of exoskeleton to become Megavolt Split Face, an electrically-charged state where he had access to the full range of Bolt Head’s electrical abilities. The duo would eventually take their bullying and predations to the surface, where they found newfound favorite targets in the form of humanity. At first only small towns and neighborhoods were targeted for destruction, but soon they moved on to bigger and bigger settlements before finally reaching the city of Harrisburg.

It was here that Baronga was summoned with a high-frequency signal emitter, and it was here that the duo would finally meet their match. Bolt head was largely relegated to staying behind as it was no match for Baronga physically. Split Face on the other hand, was evenly matched with the prehistoric beast. No amount of traded blows could swing the battle in one or the other’s favor. That is, until Split Face and Bolt Head combined into their ultimate form: Megavolt Split Face. Now Baronga was on the back foot, and could do little as Megavolt Split Face pounded the reptile with blow after blow, strike after strike. Only through human intervention did Megavolt Split Face falter, when a bomb was launched directly at it’s sensitive nose organ. This caused Bolt Head to detach from Split Face, but was intercepted and killed by Baronga when it was impaled by the latter’s sickle claws. With his symbiote defeated and thus leaving him by himself, Split Face decided to retreat to fight another day rather than face Baronga in an injured state.
