And just like that, another page of the tutorial is up!

What can I say? Inspiration just hit, and before I knew it, I was knee-deep in another page. Not much to add to this one, except maybe to clarify that using parallel lines for natural poses tends to look too rigid. Angle the lines in toward the neck, as if the body were a triangle. Also, notice how the body lines are curved instead of straight. Giving the body some flow makes it more realistic. This helps give the impression of an arched back (and a slightly round stomach).

Aw, looks like Blossom is going to change into her normal clothes. Oh well, I can't blame her—she did have her butt pointed at. But what will we do for a model while she's away?

Something about drawing the eyes still stumps me and I'm not sure what...I think it might be that the whites of the eye go to the edge of the face that always looks odd to me. I get a bit lost on the depth of their heads being 2d ? I feel like I am making it too complex for myself since most fans say drawing PPG is one of the more simple styles...And then their is aging them to teens, where the long legs on them just looked out of place to me...

If you're talking about the white circles inside her pupils, then yes, I can definitely agree that drawing them at the sides of the head can look odd.  I've been recently trying to think of them more as the centre of the eye, so when the character is looking all the way to one side of her face, I try to draw the black pupil circle so that its center point is almost the same as the white circle's center point (a.k.a. drawing them nearly concentric), rather than draw the pupil almost entirely inside the eye.  (Hopefully that makes sense )


It does take a lot of trial and error to get things to look the way you like.  Drawing the puff style can be easy if you limit yourself to easy poses and faces, but this tutorial will cover lots more than that.
