Description
As I promised to some of the people here, I'm releasing the first tutorial here. This is the tutorial for how to do soft cell shading on Photoshop, based on my experience.
The version of Photoshop used in the tutorial is 6. If you use later versions, names of tools/modes and/or allocation of shortcut keys might be different.
I'm working on Windows, so if you use Mac please change these notations as: Ctrl to Command, Alt to Option.
I just hope it helps you.

Line softening isn't included in my tuts.
I thought that shirotuki had a tut about softening lines, but it seems that she doesn't have it in her gallery anymore?

Hmm, somethings not right...how come my brush still spill? I mean i locked the transparency and the lock itself, plus i add a white layer under it just in case, but how come the whole image is brushed instead of the lines? is the lineart multiplied or normal?
Can you help me out Getty? this would greatly quicken my lineart coloring.

I don't get your situation very well, but if you fail to get lineart on a tranplarent layer, try my lineart tutorial first.

This is great!
Did you use a tablet for the Lineart?

No problem.
I don't have a tablet, so I've been looking for other ways to do Lineart.
Great pics, by the way...
