Mondays...I'm still not a huge fan of having to put my work in the "Anthro" gallery if it doesn't depict something that could be construed as "fantasy art". Ah well...

I remember seeing this one elsewhere. I like it! XD I feel like he looks like how everbody feels when they wake up in the morning. Unless, of course, you're a morning person, I suppose. I love those pants, big time. I also enjoy the range of different colors you applied (the wall, his skin, the sunrise outside, etc.) Good variety, very bright!

Know how you feel 'bout the gallery thing. My work is modern setting and almost exclusively bestial right now, but I'm not part of the whole furry/anthro movement stuff.
But anyway, been seeing and enjoying your art for years, lurking in the background--always find your skill in painting and art absolutely awesome and inspiring. Very groovy stuff!

I've always thought "Anthro" was a loaded word. Back when the Anthro, Anime/Manga and Cartoon/Comic galleries were "created", I felt strongly about it. Those are the only three galleries separated by genre as opposed to medium used. I still feel very strongly about it. Supposedly it was done to address complaints from other artists that their work was being overshadowed by anime/manga art in their respective galleries. Ah well...
