Description So, this is a very rough torso tutorial. I didn't write up much info on it, but you can still see how I handle them. I wasn't very familiar with how to do male muscled torsos before this so they're still a bit rough, but I like them and I think I did well on them. I'm currently working on using some of the torso lineart from this to make four unusual skin tone things for an unusual skin tone tutorial which will be the next thing I put up. I hope you enjoy this and find this useful ^^

Oh, and sorry for my slowness posting things lately @_@ school has been keeping me very busy.

If there are any other tutorials you think you might want, feel free to ask. Also, feel free to check out my tutorial gallery folder thingy.

I like how you put planes/plates for the hip bones. That looks like a great way to layer on finer detail later!

I've been using it quite a bit lately and I find it to be one of the better methods. I change the base structure I use for the hips a lot, but the discs have been pretty good so far.

I made sure to include a blue one. I'm doing four: oversaturated purple, goblin green (because I wanted to practice them), dark gray, and pastel blue.

I feel like this was very helpful. Perhaps the next tutorial you can do could be different hairstyles and how they react to the environment. I mean there are so many different hairstyles, but no one knows how to draw them in the wind or when they're wet or when underwater or well... you get the idea.

GlassLotuses In reply to CourageofAwesome [2015-09-26 03:47:16 +0000 UTC]

oooooh I like this idea. I was planning to do a hair tutorial soon, and the idea of trying to do hairstyles blowing in the wind, and wet would be pretty cool.
