Coalition states of Sector 5 Part 1

The Coalition is a group of small independent nations that have aligned themselves with the Terran Federation and are actively taking part in the war effort against the Empire.
The bulk of the coalition effort comes from Sector 5 of the Free Colonies. Many of them however have little to no standing army, only fielding a navy with a small marine corps. Some not even that much.

It's the size of the coalition in sector 5 that has managed to keep it alive and strong long enough where other Coalition states have failed. Here are a few of them

The Kradian Federation: Perhaps one of the largest of the Sector 5 nations, a spacer state that formed in the outcome of a spacer rebellion shortly after the first war. THey have been preparing militarily for the war for years now, becoming an extremely militant nation in the process. This militancy and preparation did pay off when the second war started. Though before the war they viewed most outsiders with suspicion and distrust, they have gained much closer relations with other Coalition states through the ongoing war efforts

The New Staevik Republic: Formed shortly after the first war, after the Collapse of the original Staevik Republic. Many survivors and refugees fleeing the short civil war were accepted by the Terran Federation and given a small system to work with. As time passed, other groups and systems slowly joined up with the New Staevik Republic. Though not actively fighting the Empire, they have been very vocal in keeping support with coalition states. Their focus is towards the Staevik Union, preparing for the eventuality of the Union coming to claim them and acting as a knowing buffer state for the Terrans.

Omorfian Republic: A small but wealthy nation comprising of 1 system and several mining posts outside of it, the Omorfians have almost no military experience whatsoever. Being conquered by the imperials in the first war and liberated at the end, the Omorfians built up a sizeable military force that unfortunately has mostly been for show. Donning a 'peacekeeper' blue armor color, it was clear to most other coalition members that the Omorfians were going to contribute little in the way of actual military capabilities. It especially showed when the Omorfian government dragged it's feet around when it came to actually helping the coalition states outside of verbal support. Not wanting to deploy it's military forces anywhere at the start, the Omorfians have been a somewhat worthless ally.

The Free State of Zephyr: A spacer and 'oddball' nation with no standing army to be seen. Focusing all of their efforts on a scrapped together large fleet of light vessels and a small but trained marine force, Zephyr was quick to throw literally everything they had into the war effort. Donning cheap armor including imperial helmets from the first war, and an Exoskeleton, largely seen as the poorer option compared to muscle suits, they have been loyal and willing since they joined the war effort.
