(And this would be the problem with creating terrifying genetic biological superweapons... one really should attempt to master the 'control' part first before making them into violent murder machines.)

Control is already established. But when you live in a facility where your colleagues wouldn't mind watching what would happen during the rare instances of an escape than actually recapturing the creature, then problems like these occur.

Buggest problem is you become the living guinea pig

(Oh... that's even scarier actually. And... pretty dang wasteful. Seriously... throw in the criminals, the dissidents... D-class personnel like the SCP foundation. Sacrificing researchers, soldiers, and lab-technicians... yeah you've got more but still... a waste. In the middle of war-time to.)

in a universe where the candidates are in the millions to choose from and computers can store all the information that your predecessor had, replacements are a dime a dozen.Just make sure whatever you're researching or creating isn't smart enough to escape and kill you. Because your colleagues will lock you in with it. And they will watch it murder everyone on the cameras

(I understand that viewpoint. I'm very familiar with the Warhammer universe in which central tenets of their military are based around the pure replaceability of their soldiers due to their practically endless reserves. I also still find it wasteful. Really, it's not about whether or not they can be easily replaced, that they can be easily replaced 'allows' for this kind of behavior, it's just that there are so very many BETTER ways to test the lethality of a terrifying new super monster instead of letting it run roughshod over a bunch of brilliant minds, replaceable or not. And it is inefficient as you'll have to bring in other minds to pick up where they left off which will take at least a slight delay and learning period, and clean up after the mess and the like... the morality of it is scary, but it's the practicality that's actually bugging me. Might be a me thing.

Regardless of all that though... it is a scary picture. And, well... I guess they get to die with the knowledge that they made what they were aiming to make.)

And I still agree with you. It's not like monsters rampaging through a facility are an everyday event. But in the very rare chance that it does escape, usually the scientists behind these monsters and facilities themselves are so willing to see a field test of their own creation, that what's a few collegues out of the way in the grand scheme of things? It might even mean a promotion for you also.

But these events aren't common. So it's not like these sorta things break out everydayThanks glad you like it

(Ah, fair enough, and I can actually see that easily... no matter what society, future, past, modern, supposedly utopian or downright savage, NEVER underestimate the capacity of other people to use petty logic in their decision making. 'If I let these people die I might get a pay or status boost', will always be effective, unfortunately... I'm glad to hear that they're not common at least. Outlier events are way easier for me to handle than, say, 'oh it's Tuesday again, better get teh cleaning crews down here and the recruiter over to the university for another batch of eggheads'. Means that it's a people problem, not a system-designed one.

 And you are quite welcome!)

I tried drawing some stuff relating to it's beak, but the anatomy of it's mouth was just too challenging to overcome. So i kept it's mouth shut
