Yeah, I remember you saying that the Xenos tend to has some problems with their bio weapons. The solution is locked and sealed doors. Makes me wonder how much of Xenos is 'in the red' and of the resources lost there.

Nothing can ever be achieved without a little risk, amirite? Especially when the end justifies the means. Of course that's how the Empire views it.
There are many areas that tend to need to be sealed, only to be reopened when the area has been deemed safe or has been reclaimed by a special force (usually advanced troopers or Arelis supersoldiers). Red is usually when an area is sealed until they are ordered to reopen from one of the the top officials.
Or when things go into a 'black' phase is when an entire needs to be sterilized (when a biological weapon or disease has broken out in the laboratories)
The resources lost can always be reclaimed in time. Unless a code 'black' has happened, where the area will never be reclaimed or set foot in again. Considering facilities usually span several kilometers in every direction as they're very big, much can be lost when 'shit totally hits the fan'
