First off, please ignore that Sweetie Belle looks like Bon-Bon. >_>; Secondly, this is the beginning of this series' "Bonus" pics, i.e. character pairings outside the Mane Six, and we start by putting Tails with the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Bound by youth and a desire to prove themselves to their elders, they just worked together really well for me, visually and in my mind, and this pic was consequently a lot of fun to make. Took a bit of doing to balance things right compositionally, but in the end I'm fairly pleased with the results.

It's kind of nice to come across old SatAM fans in this fandom. It's been so many years since I've parted ways, kind of makes me nostalgic and hopeful about who else may have come back from dormancy. Great job by the way.

I saw this coming, and it's just as cute as I figured it would be, so just this once, I can't give a huge speech. Visually, Tails and Sweetie Belle came out the best here--as they're the stars of this pic, I suppose it's only fitting.
...and seeing as the CMC are already giving Tails a metaphorical medal for achievement, there's clearly a story behind this. One day, I hope to hear it. ^_^

One day he will learn that not all capes were created equal, but for now our young fox friend thinks "Capes = Super Heroes", and "Super Heroes = anything good in the world". XD ^_^
Heh, thanks. As I said, I'm...not 100% happy with Sweetie's colors, they're too bright for her, but I remain happy with her and Tails even so. Thank you very much for your kind words.

*grins* Very true. I just can't help imagining the rest of the cutie crusaders getting their marks, then looking a Tails, and Tails being all, "Um. Well, I'm a freedom fighter. See, I'm grown-up in my community too!" And they're not convinced, and keep trying to help him get his cutie mark, 'cause obviously everyone gets a cutie mark, doncha know!
