This was originally meant to be the first FiM/SatAM crossover pic, but I decided to switch it with Sally/Twilight since everyone and their grandma has done a Sonic/Rainbow Dash pic at this point. lD; Still, it was a lot of fun to do, though a bit more challenging than Sally/Twilight due to Sonic and Dash's more active poses.

OK while sonic IS very fast he tops out at somewhere around mach 8 at full speed (not counting Super Sonic cause that counts as getting help) while at top speed Rainbow Dash after performing a sonic rainboom goes hypersonic A.K.A. beyond mach 10 thus Sonic is slower than Rainbow DashΒ

sonics numbers I kinda guesstimated but as for Rainbow Dash's numbers I got those from DEATH BATTLE by Screw Attack but I still think Rainbow would win

Here's the thing, for me: Sonic 'n' Rainbow both run at the same speed, and it's called the Speed of Plot. Β They are as fast, or as slow, as the story needs them to be in order to function, and as such I could probably point to dozens of scenarios, in either character's history, that could paint one as faster than the other. Β So trying to objectively claim one is definitively faster than the other just sorta strikes me as kind of silly, y'know? Β
Not to say Rainbow couldn't kick Sonic's butt in a race, you understand. ;3Β Β

well rainbow dash can move at top speed is breacking the sound barrier so she can travle at the speed of about mach I yet sonics top speed is like the flash who can both go from 0 to speeds of mach II in a second god i feel like a nerd for knowing this..... OTAKU FTW

While the Flash is the Fastest Man Alive Sonic is the fastest THING alive.
At cruising speed Sonic runs at 768mph which he can achieve in less than 5 seconds (held back by friction).
When Sonic "boosts" by breaking the sound barrier he can reach speeds of 3,840mph.
As Super Sonic his speed is increased 1,000 fold, 768,000.
When using "boost" Sonic average is increased 6 fold, so it can be fair to say the same about his super form, 4,608,000 mph.
This is far above the speed of light.
While the flash stated, the moment the broke the light barrier, they were transported to the alternate universe.
P.S. im no nerd my report card says that lol
However this as never happened to Super Sonic even thought he is well capable of breaking the light barrier.
