Description
I realized that I never did put together a full documentation of my creation of Vantage Point, even though I had all of the images. Since it has been brought into question a few times in the past if I am the actual creator of this piece, this is to assure you that yes, I AM. This is a bit of a show-and-tell, a bit of a tutorial, and a bit of a territorial pissing. I created this piece, and this shows it step-by-step. I did not copy this from -anything- or -anyone-, this is purely from my own brain and creativity. Coming up with your own creation is what truly being artist is all about.Sorry about the hugeness, but I wanted everyone to be able to see it all well enough.

one question do you leave the pencil line or do you erase it? for the first time i am doing something like this but it will not have a background. also the other problem i have is i am drawing a white wolf on a white background. so that will be fun. i might make the hole background all black i do not know yet.

Wow, it's great to see how this piece started out and the steps used to complete it. This was one of the first pieces of yours I ever saw and since then it's been a favorite of mine. Spectacular, plus I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who sometimes has to scan in my art in pieces then patch them back together like a jigsaw puzzle on PSP. Anyway, beautiful, beautiful piece! Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Very clever using other pieces of paper to protect the original drawing of the wolf, i'll have to keep that in mind next time i attempt airbrush again XD ( at least i THINK thats paper)

You've got a real talent! I find you being able to create this with acrylic appalling! I fancy watercolor most(though I've never tried oil). I once tried with acrylic to paint a bear head......let's just say there's a reason I didn't upload it on DA lol.

You really know an art piece is good when it can be resold for a good price later too. If the buyer ever sells, I LOVE this painting.

I'm not gonna lie, when I saw the image alone for the first time, I thought it was photoshop since that what a lot of people use now-a-days. Then I saw this, and I was blown away. I never knew such artists still existed in this time and day. You are amazing!

Shame on stupid, jelous peaple who can't see that you have talent, your countless pencil drawings prove that! Don't take it personal, they just havn't got their own life!

It has been called into question, that you are the creator of this work? wow ... that's hard. When I consider how long I already follow your works and see what you create, I find it rude accusation.
Nevertheless, I am grateful to this work, each time give a little insight into your work. I'm always excited about your pictures!

The painting is so detailed, so well done, so correct with the anatomy, and so real looking that it actually feels, that it could be for real. Amazing job with it (once again) and this step-by-step thing in really helpful. I didn't know using a airbrush would come out with such an amazing work! I consider now buying one.

Yup. I can see. Thanks! It is amazing to see the similarities and differences between digital art and traditional art. Both use layers, but I think traditional has an aspect about it that can't quite be captured by digital.
