Description
A new and improved fur tutorial, yay!I chose to start in black and white and add color later in the hopes that it would make it easier to see what was going on with the fur texture.
Though I used a wolf as an example, this is really just a method, and could be applied to any animal or length of fur.
I'm using Photoshop CS, though I imagine it shouldn't be too hard to adapt this to other programs...
I am also assuming that a tablet will be used, and that the opacity and size sensitivity would be ON for all of this.
I followed [link] very closely as a reference....
And the kitty eyes came from -

Thank you so much for this tutorial! This will help me a lot in the future! Also, I was wondering for step 9, what if the wolf/animal you are coloring is white? Do you just do the same thing only color it white. Please answer, thank you

Thanks for this tutorial, helped a lot with getting my "fur doings" a step towards more realistic, and gave something to think about when doing 'em in future pics.
