This is an amazing tutorial! I forgot how to highlight and shade fur, and I looked back at my old style of doing so, and it didn't work for me anymore. So, I went on Google Images to search up tutorials, found yours, and put the lessons to use. And wouldn't you know it, this method works MUCH better than my old method!

Thank you very much!

Look at step 2. Next to "Circle Fuzzy (19)" there's a fuzzy large dot there. That's the circle fuzzy. (: it's in Gimp. Not sure if other programs have it. Let me know if you need more help.

I'm not sure that the point of this tutorial is. Is it to just make a more "natural" looking photoshop? Because I guess it works, although you overdid it on the length of the fur and the highlighting, especially around the shaded parts of it's body, where, regardless that they're "flyaways", would not be receiving light. The color, especially noticeable on the wolf's back, doesn't match at all. A few changes, though, and it might be pretty convincing.
Regardless of the tutorial entirely, I don't see the point of photoshopping at all, when you could ust draw it yourself, but that's irrelevant to this deviation.
I do think it sets a basic lesson for what someone may be trying to accomplish though, so good job.

The point of this tut is to show a technique for those who don't like the sharpness and unrealistic look that plain old cutting gives.

Believe me, I didn't make this as realistic as I possibly could because it's meant to be short, sweet, to the point, and to put it frank I'm not the best. I meant it to be a very easy-to-follow tutorial that beginners can understand, and with enough practice with it they can adapt it and make their own styles.

Also, I would love to draw instead of photoshopping! But all I have is an internet connection, a free photo editor, and a simple little laptop, so it would be quite hard to share my work and improve it. That's why I do manipulations instead.

Sorry for the novel, and thanks for the critique. I will keep what you said in mind.
