Very nice!!! Barid Bel has always, is, and will always be my favorite. And I won't bore you with my long thesis on where he's at (it's more like "Where isn't he?")
When I met Brandon at the book signing here for tGS, we were supposed to write on a sticky what we wanted him to write in the book. Mine was: "To Kristi: I promise Demandred will be in aMoL!!"
When he wrote it, I told him that I'll probably get a RAFO about it, but my theory is that Barid Bel would be the one to have the most impact come Tarmon Gai'don, that RJ was "saving the best for last". Instead of giving me a RAFO type of answer (which he did with my question about Graendal (I knew she wouldn't have bought it THAT easy!), he stated flat out that Barid Bel will be the prime mover for the Shadow in the Last Battle. So, color this girl really damned happy!

"Let the Lord of Chaos Reign" Mazrim Taim....Has to be Demandred in a mask of mirrors or whatever they call it. Taim knows and does way to much esp when he captures the red sisters methinks.Right under the dragons nose where he can do alot of harm.....Great sketch

see, I used to believe that too, but then I remember reading in... I think it was Wotmania, that Jordan had said that Mazrim Taim wasn't Demandred.
Then again, I really can't see who else he could be! Graendal's thought in A Gathering Storm of him being with the Borderlanders seemed very plausible, but they're near Far Madding and I just can't see Demandred voluntarily crippling himself like that.
So I just don't know, and the anticipation's killing me!
