Description
This is an example of a Pzkpfw-IV Ausf-C just after the end of the invasion of France, summer 1940. The yellow symbol stenciled on the front plate between the radio operator’s and the driver’s visors show that it is a member of the 3rd Panzer Division. Its only other marking consist of its tactical number ‘422’ that has been stenciled in white onto the turret sides. Although the vehicle possesses an early war two-tone camouflage scheme, dirt and dust have obscured it.
