This Pzkpfw-IV Ausf.F2 (ie.G), part of the 16th Panzer Division in Ukraine during the spring of 1942, has an overall base coat of dark grey (RAL7021) and markings that consist of a stenciled white tactical number "222" on the turret sides and rear. The numbers are of a non-typical type with blank vertical and horizontal spaces that run through the numerals. Note that the crew has made an extra effort to upgrade the tank's armor by attaching spare tracks to the vehicle's front hull.Related content
