Ok so, I decided to work on hyenas for once, now that most of my lions have been done, I feel like I've been neglecting other animals in the TLK univers and it bothers me with hyenas especially cuz they're one of my fave animals. Also the pokemon pic set is taking way more time than expected so I'm allowing myself to do a bit of that and then a bit of TLK to feel like I'm actually making progress on my stuff.

- The older brother out of 5, he was what started the bad naming trend from his parents; they named him Moja because he was the only pup in the litter, then when the next time they got a litter of 4, his parents went "to heck with it" and named their remaining children after numbers. Moja is a very aggressive and dominant male, and he was very high-ranked for his age when the split happened; he would've probably went with the rest of the clan if it wasn't for the fact that all 4 of his brothers decided to stay behind with Janja, so he decided to stay with them.
Objectively he's the oldest of the crew, and he would probably be the lead if he wasn't so busy getting the others out of trouble and if Janja didn't have a massive bodyguard in the form of Chungu; even with all his strenght and energy, Moja couldn't compete with his size, and was too busy keeping an eye on his brothers. He's the one that stays the most out of trouble with the Pridelands, and isn't often seen with them when they poach; he hunts alone on free lands.
The older bro of the 5! As mentioned he's part of Janja's clan, but he isn't based on any one appears in the show, he's based on promotional (?) art where the clan has cornering Jasiri, he seemed to have a very distinct design and I've been meaning to make him into an OC for a long while now (so long that I had trouble finding the source for that illustration).

- Mbili is the oldest of the 4 twins, he's got a big and bombastic personality and mostly sticks around Tatu, he probably gets into fights with the others the most, and probably challanges Chungu in strength competitions every other day (and probably loses 9/10 of the times).
Big jaw boy! This is one of the background characters that kind of appear and disappear from Janja's clan during the show, but his design is really easy to pick out because of his expression and big jaw; I also noticed in a couple of screenshots that he has a fang and a tusk, so I included that.

- Tatu is the middle brother, he mostly sticks with Mbili, but spends more time with Nne and Tano compared to his older brothers. I don't have much to say on him; he probably gets confused with Tano a lot becuase they look a lot like each other and have similar names.
Ok so, this one is basically the copy paste model; Janja's clan fluctuates between seven and nine hyenas, and especially before Mbili's model was introduced (after the movie) the other background hyenas had Tatu's model; so I condensed them in a single character (obviously) and used Moja as the eight member (the ninth is a female hyena that appears only in a few shots of "bring back a legend" so I'm prob not gonna use her design cuz her presence doesn't make sense and she never appears again).

So yeah, the rest of Janja's clan is here! I justified Moja not appearing in the show like... at all as him not wanting to get in trouble in the Pridelands. I have no context for the book illustration he appears in, but it clearly takes place in the outlands/where the clan lives so it makes sense for him to be there.
As for the parents of the 5... they probably died in the fire of Pride rock and Moja had to raise his brothers alone (I checked my own timeline and the 4 would be the same age Simba was during the stampede accident).
I already added them to the family tree , Mbili and Tatu are marked as semi-canon characters because they're always in the background and nameless, while I marked Moja as an OC.

Also, today's my birthday! Yay I'm one year closer to death...... I'm only 21 and I feel old.
