yeah but my art teacher always said at times less is more and the way you did Fred's suit looks better i sort of messed up on mine

Haha, thanks Connor! Yeah, I do like how the hair came out too - it's one of the few physical features that's actually described about this character in the books, and it's pretty unique, so I like to play it up. ^^

Haha, thank you! I'm in-between drawing styles right now so to me this still looks a bit odd, but I'm still happy with it. ^^ Huh, it is kind of funny when you think about the control they must have just to do normal gestures like that; like whenever I see the Chief shaking a person's hand in the games. I guess they probably just adjust automatically by now though...Fred's hair is pretty much the only unique detail we know about him, so I love to play it up. Thanks, hopefully it won't be another year before I make another finished piece. XD

Well, I'm not really creating a new style, I'm mostly just stuck trying to balance two different ways of thinking. For school I've been doing a lot of oil painting, which forces you to think of/render objects in a more realistic way. That method has sort of bled into how I draw lately...which is a problem since I want to be doing more stylized work (like the more "animated" looking things I've done in the past). I guess it's just hard for me to have two different styles of art in my head at the same time.

Yeah, I guess "realistic but not too realistic" is an accurate way to describe the style of these. XD I'm still getting used to it but I do like the way it looks in the end. Thank you for your nice comment! Glad you like it!
