Bell didn't care anymore. She didn't care who was watching, she didn't care about the others, she didn't even care about herself. A deep void had opened inside her and swallowed every last ounce of feeling from her. She cried for Breannin. She cried for Jazzal. She cried for their torn and terminated relationship. And she cried for Barasia, and the hurt she had caused, and the lack of hope for her. "Breannin.." was all she said. She repeated the name, over and over, softly to herself.

"Oh, come on Bell," she said, her voice suddenly so sweet and innocent. "Don't cry. It's not the end of the world if you don't stop me." she paused a moment, grinning, "Oh wait, yes it is!" her giggle turned into a laugh, her laugh into a cackle, and her cackle into an echo as a column of light consumed her body and whisked it away.

Bell wasn't sure exactly when she stopped crying. She doubted that she ever did.

Yes, for the diehard ones, there are some differences between this and Chapter 23. However, like any book-to-movie adaptation, there's always some changes and cutdowns. I am real happy with the final result, so there!
