The way you do backgrounds (the simplistic ones) is so similar to the style in this old story-book I had when I was very little! You even use the same color schemes and line techniques! I loves it so much!

Okay, that's the best background tutorial ever. It explains noobs like me how to create almost ANY KIND of background by understanding how it works. Thank you!

Can you go more in depth on the texture all the way down in a separate tutorial please? I'd like to learn more with the usage of different colors. This is really helpful, and I think it can help me with what I'm trying to draw.

Again, thank you so very much for these tutorials. It is just the artistic inspiration I needed to grow and learn. Now I'm more excited for my exams to be done and for thanksgiving weekend to begin!
I can't wait to go out and put this to use in my sketch book, or just hop on the computer and play around with textures and coloring.
Oh, do you have any more tips on texture specifically? I'm very good at fabric and how it folds but texture is one of my weaker points.

:'D I am glad to help.
Best way to learn about texture is to actually see and feel it in real life and put it under light and see how it reacts and so on with it ^^

I tested out really quickly and roughly (because as I mentioned, my tablet truly hates my computer) with my tablet then later mouse. It was mostly to see if I could understand the concept. I'm probably going to try better drafts later. But honestly, I did love the blending of the quick background I made! It wasn't on this account, but my ask Edd (since I love Ed Edd n' Eddy) [link]
Again thank you so much! Even though that was a really quick rough background, I learned so much!
And awesome! Thanks. I'll work on that for sure.
