Put the opacity on 60% and change the opacity when you feel you want a softer brush or harder one :3

I'm going to find this very useful - I'm now more interested in drawing backgrounds and trees have become a difficulty for me. I think what you pointed out, about making trees "symmetrical" was my problem. I think I became a perfectionist and made trees too straight and bushy with no details. I'll be referring back to this tutorial and photos of nature, trees and stuff. ^..^
Thank you for the useful and helpful tutorial! ^..^

This is super useful!!!
I'm trying to draw some background for a personal project... and I discovered that I really sucks in coloring with photoshop!!!! XD
And more important: I'm too impatient and I would like to finish as soon as possible my work....
So: this tutorial is perfect! Fantastic!
Thank you so much!!

Amazing tutorial!
Mind me asking what kind of brush you use for most of your background (mainly tree) painting? I know the brush it's the important thing, but I can't seem to find a good one that actually looks like painting. It's either to soft or too hard or to transparent or too opaque. I can't find a good balance. And help would be MUCH appreciated. But even if you don't respond, thanks for making this tutorial anyways. My trees improved 10X after I read this. <3

And btw you dont feature groups on peoples art begging them to join you, thats extremly rude of you.

Yes, people some times want to join my group, but sometimes i invite people

Yes but you can atleast be less rude by send people a note about it because it seems like you are posting on peoples popular art to use them to make more people see it. Dont do this.
