Description don't ask about the title - it was the first word that came to mind when i finished drawing him.

part of a stack of drawings done one afternoon, sitting in a corner in town a month or more ago.
please forgive the lousy photo, i don't own a scanner.

black pencil, cartridge paper.

*smiles* cheers for the feedback. The photo's pretty bad - there's a bit more contrast in the original, though I'm not sure if a dark background would really work here. But thankyou for your feedback anyway.

(but blacken the background is my i-dont-know-any-further solution for many drawings i did nowadays when i do digital painting i usually do the same, just with some colors...)

This one is truly unique, subtle and melancholic. May I ask if it is a reference to a real person or not? And the title suits it just fine...

Oh, and don't worry, I don't own a scanner either. I'll try to be quick about replying to your other comments, I've been a bit occupied with diseases lately...

*smiles* he's not real, but i was missing a long-gone someone particularly acutely that day (ghost chasing, as always) so the ski-slope nose, the heavy features - they're all very similar to that person. But I think he's just the personification of that leaden, nothing-you-can do, face-to-the-wall feeling...

I understand perfectly... Well, I suppose we are both ghost-chasers, you and I. Always drawn to people and/or ideas we can;t reach, I guess. And yes, the feeling is portrayed perfectly. It's rather familiar; all too familiar, maybe...
