The earlier method attempted to measure angles, then move the two perpendicular lines a certain way based on percentages. Where they touched an angled circle was where the new points had to go.

It was actually a decent approximation, and better than guessing. But the circle was the weak point; the more "off" it was, the less effective the final shape. It also made it awkward to draw a "3-D" shape, although, again, it was better than guessing.

The basic idea of a shape rotating in a circle remains. This time, however, you plot the points by finding their vertical and horizontal positions inside the big, outer 1VP square.

If only there was a way to divide up such a square so you'd know where the points were...be of good cheer, such a method does exist, and it's on the next page!
