Description
This tutorial shows how you can combine two models directly in XPS, which use the same bone structure (bones, scale, position)What you need:
- Latest XNA Posing Studio (XPS)
- At least two models to combine
Annotations:
- XPS use the skeleton of the first loaded model, take care of the load order.
- Both models need to have the same size, pose and bone names !!!
If you discover any mistakes, then please inform me and I'll correct.

I hope so. With XPS it should for the most be easier than with blender.
Thanks you.

So, by working with three models distinct, the skeleton of the first from the loadorder is the base? Very interesting, I was think different. Thanks!

What happens if you rotate the head neck upper bones after that

If the neck bones of both models have the same name an position all parts should move together.
In case you use completely different models the result could weird I can imagine. Just try it.

Do you just want to swap clothes or directly mod the meshes like face?

CrystalRomuko In reply to Grummel83 [2016-08-17 00:53:34 +0000 UTC]
I want to combine clothes by directly mod the meshes like face in blender

And where is exactly your problem. Don't fit the parts together, don't they move correctly?

CrystalRomuko In reply to Grummel83 [2016-08-18 21:29:03 +0000 UTC]
all of them you said. Don't fit the parts together, don't move together and a pieces moves and skin comes out of the clothes

Sorry for the late reply.
Are you familiar with weight groups in blender?
π: 0 β©: 1
Grummel83 In reply to CrystalRomuko [2016-09-05 19:56:53 +0000 UTC]
Weight groups define how parts of the mesh react to the movement of the armature.
It's possible to copy the weight groups from one part to another (weight transfer)
Do you use blender 2.49 or newer version?

Thanks, I hope it will be useful. Even if I use blender for such jobs, I regard the way XPS makes it as quite easy.
