My third Tutorial.
This is kinda like the second part of the Head Tutorial, here i show how to draw the body. This one is larger than the previous one, and i made 2 or 3 mistakes, i hope no one notice them.................
The point of this tutorial is to show how to make your own pixel character, from your fav anime character or Oc.
The base is 50x30 so it can be used as an Avatar/Icon.
Anyway, the guy i like likes that character (Kagami, from lucky star) Its gonna be a Valentines present (im making an animation or something with her). Since i was putting some effort on making her, i decided to make a tutorial on how i was drawing her.
That means.. Please dont copypaste and upload the result as your own "creation". Try making your own characters

Edit: I made this tutorial back in 2008 I was new at pixels back then :> i know this has many mistakes and that theres better tutorials out there. (for the peeps who pointed it out via comments) But look at this as a super simple beginners guide made by a begginner at the time..

There are many ways to make a base, depending on what type of base you want : position, size, based on another picture/screenshot, etc.

A lot of people have pointed out many mistakes. I made this tutorial some years ago when i was still didnt use perspective and was new to the whole pixel thing.
I dont feel like changing it because i like to remember how i use to draw when i first started pixels, so im just leaving it up like a "super.easy.fast.simple tutorial for beginners".

How adorable! I think this will certainy come in handy for me later. It's just detailed enough to get the point across, but it's simple enough that it's easy to understand. Just a little tip, from what I've picked up, how you shade the body is like the light comes from inside it and is very looked-down-upon.
But, great tutorial! Really, you're really good at this.

Im terrible at doing shine and light, but i like to put darker colors next to the outlines to help them blend in better. It makes the outline look less like squares next to each other.
