Description This was a lesson-piece based on a painting by Jan Martin Maguire. I was trying to learn some new techniques with acrylic paints.

I'm mostly happy with the way the coyote's head turned out, and the out-of-focus effect with the background. I apologise for the rest of the coyote and the very unrealistic rocks.

Thanks! The body's a bit barrel-shaped, legs are a tad too long and I didn't quite get the body fur the way I wanted it no matter how hard I tried. But overall I like it too.
