I'm hoping S3 builds on Shining/Cadence too; after all, their sudden introduction understandably rubbed many people the wrong way!

Well, the whole story is really cute. I particularly liked whole language barier with Cadence, very imaginative. Still, that panel when Celestia talks to Shinig is not very clear, I had to read the description to get the purpouse of that panel, but that may as well be that I'm dumb Get it colored and it will make my way to top 10 long comics of mlp that I read so far. It was just a related doodle, really, though maybe I did leave it a little too cryptic... Ah well!

Colouring these isn't on my list of priorities at the moment but given their popularity it's certainly a possibility.

What are they looking down at?

They were just about to present their rings and paused because they spotted each other's.

I could have made that clearer but I wanted them hidden until the last panel.

Since S2 a pony's magic colour corresponds to their cutie marks, which certainly worked out very nicely with Shining and Cadence.
