Katarina Claes was not your average noblewoman of the Kingdom of Sorcier. That day, at noon, she escaped using a window in the lower floor and ran to the forest near the mansion. She wanted to do it early in the morning, but she overslept, like she usually does. After gaining some distance, she looked around to confirm that no one was looking. She smiled and immediately took off her boots. With her boots on her hands, Katarina started running around with a joyful expression in her face as she felt the grass on her bare feet. Katarina loved running barefoot in the grass; alongside reading and eating sweets, it was one of her favorite hobbies since she reincarnated in that world, but her mother would be furious if she saw her doing something so inappropriate for a lady of nobility, so she had to go somewhere private to do it. For a moment she thought that perhaps her dress got stuck in a tree branch, but that idea went out the window when she felt an arm grabbing her by the waist and a cloth covering her mouth and nose. The scare made her drop her boots and made her body to react.

“MPHHHHHH” She tried to scream and use her arms to move the arms holding her.

“Finally got you” A man said.

Katarina could not see him very well, but she could tell it was a hooded bandit. She already had the experience to know what was happening, this was a kidnapping.

“No!! Not again!!” She screamed in her mind as she struggled to get free.

It wasn’t the first time someone approached her from behind and chloroformed her, but this time her attacker wasn’t as gentle as the last and the drug was doing its job at a slower pace. Unlike last time, her mind was able to process everything going on, making her feel the appropriate fear to the situation. She panicked and struggled even more, trying to scream without any use. The man was too strong, and no one was around to help her, she had made sure of that when she went into the forest.

“Mphhh” Her moans got weaker as well as her resistance.

“Shhh… just relax and sleep”

She closed her eyes as she lost all sensibilities in her body. Katarina’s arms went numb, unable to fight anymore, falling by the sides. Her waist didn’t hurt anymore despite the strong grip of her attacker. She couldn’t even move her mouth to moan. The last feeling to banish was the one on her soles, still in contact with the grass.

The man removed the cloth when he saw the girl was not moving anymore. He smiled at seeing her with her eyes shut down and mouth half open in a state of unconsciousness. Girls from the nobility always had a special beauty about them, but for him that beauty was due to their huge monetary value in ransom, which made them the most sought-after targets for bandits. This girl in particular was the first daughter of Duke Claes and the fiancée of the third prince of the kingdom. To capture a girl that important was like getting the goose of the golden eggs. She basically just walked into the forest on her own, like she was asking for someone to kidnap her.
