Description
“Carrie, I need your help. There was a thief in the hotel last night. Maybe we can bring him down together.” Martha explained.“A thief? I know how to handle him. Do you have any information about the thief?” Carrie said.
“Unfortunately not, but I thought to use one of my wishes to find him.”
“I can do that. But before I grant that wish, there are some things you should know:
First: Be careful when you use your powers in public. It’s not good when the wrong people know about them.
Second: This body can melt. So stay away from heat. You can get your form back when you cool down, but it’s rather inconvenient.
Third: You can be hurt by hot blades or bullets.
If you wish now, we can go and find the thief.” Carrie ended her explanation.
“Then I wish that you will teleport me and everything I’m carrying right behind the thief who was stealing from the hotel last night.” Martha stated her wish.
“It’s done!” Carrie said and blinked. Both girls disappeared.
Martha re-materialized on a street in the center of the town. Fortunately, she found herself on a not crowded street. Less than a yard in front of Martha, a man was standing, his back facing her.
“Is that the thief?” Martha whispered to Carrie, who she hoped was still around.
“Yes, and I know him” The invisible Carrie whispered back. “Be careful!”
That moment, the man turned his head. His eyes widened as he recognized Martha. “You!” he gasped, spun around and darted away from Martha. Instinctively, Martha tried to grab him. To her surprise, her arm began to stretch. She nearly grabbed him, but the thief grabbed a lamppost and swung around it. Martha bent her arms to follow him as the thief circled around the lamppost. He slipped under Martha’s expanding arm and turned back towards the lamppost. Then, he jumped over Martha’s arms, slipped through the loop of Martha’s expanding arms and then ran away. Since Martha still stretched her arms, the thief managed to knot them around the lamppost. As he ran away, he left Martha tied to the lamppost.
Martha struggled to free herself, but in vain. “Carrie, help me out of this, please!” she begged. Carrie materialized next to her. “Hold still! I’ll untie you!” the genie explained. It took Carrie a few seconds to open the knot. “He knows about my powers. So you must be very careful.”
Martha nodded. “And how can I catch the thief?”
“I think I got an idea!” Carrie answered.

I'm glad you like it.
It seems Martha needs a lot of training to use her body the right way.
