Well think of me as more a guy looking in, than the guy inside ..

I'm a webdesigner and GUI artist by trade .. no comics coloring, or character design, digi painting etc .. I just use my Cintique, for touch ups on smaller details in my work

I have many mates who are in the comic industry and style of art though, so yea always been a fan of what you guys can do

Funny you should mention that... I'm a designer by trade as well, in fact I don't get to use my illustration skills as much as I'd like. This place is my outlet.

Wow - that's a very different method than I've seen before, but it sure gets to a nice ending...

That's one of the great things about artwork. Everyone can have a totally unique way of doing things, as long as the results look good!

An even shorter cut for selecting a layer's pixels is to CTRL+click on the little thumbnail of that layer in the layers palette, then CTRL+Shift+I to select inverse. Unless you're on Mac, in which case I am unsure.

Awesome! I'll have to find the Mac equivalent... I usually end up using the key command for the select inverse option, but clicking would be really nice.

oh yeah, select inverse is only a key command far as I know.
