The black and silver made me think "lightsaber" but that's the only part I guessed. Great work - especially the fact it lights up!

That's why I wanted to keep the lightsaber part the original colors. People recognize the black/silver. It's easier to point out what the original parts used were if people can see them and go "oh NOW I see the lightsaber!" If I was going to do a second one, I would probably use a hammered metallic color like bronze or anodized aluminum.

Yeah I think it's the decals that make it Ghostbuster-esque.
You should see if you have the toothbrushes over there by you and see what you can come up with!
