Description
Making some progress on this thing. I Dremel'd the slide and cut the sights off of one of the attachments that comes with the Longstrike. These will be glued in place, it really helps with the whole "parts" gun theme. Also painted another bit on the bottom of the gun green, and I'll be hitting the rest of the lower grip portion of the gun with charcoal grey here soon. There's also another piece that goes on the top, and the stock. Also, I'm not happy with the orange rust. Rust is hard.Related content

The weathering on this is great.. there's something cool about red being used also.

Thanks! Red is one of those colors that seems to be under utilized on weapon design. Except for Borderlands. I can't wait for Borderlands 2 to play with all the sweet sweet guns. <3

I really like where this is headed. I will admit though, before I finished reading the description i was like having a mini heart attack cause I was all "WHERE'S THE AWESOME LONGSHOT SIGHT THING THAT WAS ON TOP?!?!" but then i saw "There's also another piece that goes on the top" and all was right with the world.

Its Post Apoc anyways! If I was roaming around and found some gun with god knows what attached to it I'd still take it. Why? Cause its a gun in a Post Apoc world! ;D
But I really did like how it looked with it on.
