Download for more details, if you like!Ahhh, the fruit of my most recent labors. Another piece for my thesis project, this one features Tamarin and Braniard taking down some nasty critters in the desert. For my first foray into trying a real, natural background that fades into the distance, I think it turned out damn well.
This was also an experiment in using both Photoshop and MyPaint. I started out by doing the finished sketch and rough flats in Photoshop, then I dragged it into MyPaint for the bulk of the painting. I tweaked some colors in PS at the end, too. I think it's a good system! We'll see how well it bears multiple repetitions.
Anyway, I am exceedingly proud of this piece. I think my project is coming together really well, that that's just...exceedingly gratifying. lol

I really like that you chose to leave Braniard lineless in the background because it really brings Tamarin into the foreground and the center of this image. Really gorgeous.
