i stumbled on this old drawing thought some of you may want to see it out there....a few years ago i did some sketch work for an ad agency. this was on of the proposed covers to one of the MK games. i don't remember which one....but it was the one where the game environment itself posed a danger and can be used as a weapon against the players.
the challenge with this cover was to iilustrate that concept, and still keep the MK symbol recognizable. Today i wince at the quality of the drawing, but i think i illustrated the concept successfully.

This came out well, if anything they went another direction probably with something in color, because this fits wat they wanted to a T.

this is just a preliminary sketch for presentation purposes. before the client sees it a Graphic artist will take this sketch, slap so basic color on it, and make a mock up with logos and all. so, the client is not under any impression that this was going to have no color at all....i think that was what you were getting at, right iz?

I say you did a wonderful job on this. The one I like the most is how you destoryed the logo, very fantastic on the detailing.
And you gave sub-Zero a very strong pose.

I love seeing an artists older work. Ha ha the logo works but you'd tear it up now.
