Description
"Seven Soldiers of Victory"During the epic war of the Crisis in which the united villains under Darkseid's watch attacked the more populated cities of the world, one city in particular chose to fight back.
Star City.
Led by Green Arrow and his son, Conner Hawke, taking on the guise of Blue Arrow, the team simply found itself united due to random pairings. Zatanna. The Guardian. Bulleteer. Shining Knight. Vigilante. Together, they saved their city and decided to stay together for the common good, and showing the world that lucky things come in a number of seven.

I love your choices for your Roster of the Seven Soldier of Victory. You manage to pick a wonderful combo for your team and I really love the color choices you chose for those members especially changing Conner Hawke identity to Blue Arrow. Wonderful work sir

Hey, thanks! Green Arrow is my favorite superhero of all time, so when it comes to Ollie having his own team, I wanted to capture all the different aspects of the various Seven Soldiers. I only wanted the best for him.

Also, Zatanna has never lived in Star(ling) City and she is more often associated with Gotham's heroes, because her and Bruce are/were friends since childhood.

In my reboot, Zatanna is a jack-of-all-trades, going where she is needed. This isn't as much a Justice League as much as it being a team of heroes Ollie has had history with and put together.
Remember when I said that some heroes may not want to follow Bruce Wayne's master plan? Ollie is definitely one of those heroes. The Soldiers is pretty much his "this is the way its going to be".

There's always been quite a lot of resentment between Oliver and Bruce, in part from stupid territorial or ego reason, but sometimes they had good reasons to dislike each other.

Green Arrow is my absolute favorite super hero, so there is NO WAY I would make him one of Bruce's yes-men. Its simply not his style.

And it would have been boring (and not very realistic) if everyone had sided with Bruce, though that doesn't mean that everyone who did side with Bruce is a yes-man (I doubt Diana for example would like to be called that

I love Ollie's Smallville costume, so I had to go with it. If I wrote the first issue of this book, the ending would feature Canary taking off her wig to reveal short black hair, then Ollie takes off his beard, revealing it to be fake.

Aruuugh.. i'd so much rather see all of this come to life as opposed to reading what I really don't like... And yet I still continue to pick it up.

Don't worry about it. At least you're willing to give the reboot a chance. Right now, I don't pick up a single monthly DC comic. I just can't stand the company. I do wish that some of my stories would at least be see by DC execs, but at least I can enjoy them.

The only book I'm getting a lot of enjoyment out of is the new Batman. That's.. like without a "but" at the end of a sentence... You know? "I like this.. BUT..."
