Description
Dr. Bruce Banner. In the 1950's, Banner worked as a rookie agent of the up-and-coming agency known as SHIELD. His first mission: deal with the alien baby that fell into the hands of Ben and May Parker. While the child was assigned to the Parker's care, Banner took advantage of the situation and stole a small amount of the child's blood. As the 70's arrived, Banner took nearly two decades of work and eventually came across the truth: that the child's DNA, while exposed to sunlight, gave him dramatic and awesome powers. In a moment of self-worth, Banner made a choice that changed his world: he injected the DNA into himself.
However, Kryptonian and Human blood did not splice, and instead of making Banner more powerful, something else was created instead. A new type of being, feeding on Banner's prepressed anger. Turning his skin the color of Kal's home world, this being attacked New York with a mindless agression, leading to his own former teammates, the Avengers, being forced to stop the monster in their first, and last, original mission, leading to the retirement of Hank Pym, Ant-Man.
Since then, Banner had found himself a prisoner of SHIELD, heavily drugged and guarded 24/7 so that his monster self could never be brought back.
But one man has need of banner. The man who Banner originally took the blood of. Clark Parker. Superman.
However, he knew that despite his abilities, he would need help to break into SHIELD, finding Banner to get the answers he was desperately seeking. Since the Avengers could not be linked to such a mission, he needed someone else he could trust. And only one man's name came to his mind.
When Clark left his home to train to use his powers, his cousin Peter Parker, in a twist of fate, found himself bitten by a radioactive spider, gaining its abilities along the way. After failing to stop a criminal who would later kill his Uncle, Peter decided to use his abilities to protect the concepts of "Power and Resposibility" as Spider-Man.
After a bit of convincing, Superman and Spider-Man headed to the hellicarrier, hoping to retreive Banner. Eventually, the two men found Banner, practically begging to be left alone, not wanting to let the beat go. Superman is astonished to see how young Banner looked, the longevity in his blood clearly taking effect.
Nevertheless, the trio reached the top of the hellicarrier before running into their greatest threat: Nick Fury backed by dozens of heroes, working straight for SHIELD as part of the SuperHero Registration Act. Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, Spider-Woman, War Machine, Hornet, Black Widow, and others aimed their weapons as Superman and Spider-Man, Banner immediatly surrendering.
Fury threatens Superman to leave immediatly, for any further tresspassing acts will be declared as an act of war, making Superman public enemy Number One. But before Superman can respond, it happens.
The concept of having a gun pointed at him is too much for Banner to bare. The fear becomes rage, and before anyone can do anything about it, the Hulk arrives. Seeing the SHIELD crew as a threat, the Hulk attacks them with unchecked fury, and it isn't until Superman uses every ounce of his strength, restraining the Hulk and eventually tiring him out to the point where he returns to being Banner.
Redrugged and brought back to his cell, Fury informs Superman that since he saved the lives of countless agents, they are free to leave the Hellicarrier without legal actions. However, Superman still attacked SHIELD, and for that action, SHIELD will no longer be supporting the Avengers financially.
It isn't until after returning to New York that Spider-Man talks some sense into his cousin: it isn't about what happened in the past; its about what you do in the future. The concept of Power and Responsibility: a lesson Clark deeply needed to know.
Back at Stark Tower, Superman informs his teammates of what has transpired, leading to his team feeling vaguely betrayed. Not only for the attack on SHIELD, but because Superman seemingly didn't trust his teammates. The point of distrust is felt, and Superman soon finds himself in the one spot he felt most feared. Being alone.
Though soon, in the meeting room of Stark Tower, Superman meets someone he last expected to meet. Her name is Sharon Carter, Agent of SHIELD. She knew what Superman was looking for, and she might have the answers he needs. But first, a bigger threat has seemingly come along.
Sharon informs Superman that the Red Skull's greatest weapon, the "Cosmic Cube" has been completed, and he and his associates are prepared to unleash it on the United States of America, and specifically, New York City.

Randomly enough I actually love how much blacks you added in the art, fits the comic style to a T. Very nice job. Character could use more proportion work, but all in due time with practice. Although, I do understand you were more so going for the story aspect of seeing this piece come alive. Just decided to give a couple pieces of criticism. Love the idea! Yeah looking over it again seems your muscle structure and shaping is fine, just proportion needs a fix. Which is the easiest part really, trust meh, haha. Great piece!
