Please let me know if you have any questions, thanks!PLEASE READ:
Smooth on also has a rubber molding material. That is what I use. I may post a tutorial on that also.
Please browse the other comments a little to see if your question has already been answered first! That would be a great help!

Awesome tutorial! I've never had the courage to try out resin casting before, but now, I might as well do. Thumbs up!

Do you generally know about how much to use beforehand? How would you go about deciding that so you don't use too much?

I usually just estimate. you can pour water into the mold first and empty that into a cup and then try to divide that in half if you want, but if you waste a little bit by mixing too much, it's not the end of the world!

is there any way to make it transparent or is it just opaque?

IchigoKitty In reply to Skool4Psychs [2012-09-26 03:41:18 +0000 UTC]
this is for liquid plastic. transparent resin is a different type of resin!

Is iit possible to add dyes to the mix or is it better to just paint over it afterwards?

Which Smooth-Cast did you use for this? o: There are a few kinds, aren't there? Thanks! ^^

I think the only differences in the numbers is how long it takes to cure.. I remember smooth on having a chart of some kind that tells you that info! For these I used 300.

I'm not sure about the creation of those, but it's plastic so I don't see why not?

hi thanks for the info I find very useful, but two questions:
1. for color, some dye is added to the resin mixture? or painted?
2. molds, in which material can be made?

IchigoKitty In reply to ItsMinosArt [2012-09-26 03:41:56 +0000 UTC]
it's painted, and the other question is answered in the description!
