Smooth on also has a rubber molding material. That is what I use. I may post a tutorial on that also.

Looks like rubber foam... Says that you have to sand it though

there's no foam involved, It's rubber. You have to sand the object before you make the mold and it's also a good idea to sand it afterwards a little. you don't have to, however.

nice. I actually went to a tutorial like this once, but forgot a lot of information cuz I can't store it in my brain. This is a nice tutorial, but I hope to get to it someday

Do you make your own molds?
That's what I'd really benefit from - I have trouble with that part ^_^;;

yes. check smooth on's site for some mold making tutorials. I'm going to be making some soon, I just only had time so far to do this one

I think it would be helpful, to go along with this tutorial. I've been wanting to make molds for costume accessories for a while, but never did find a good tutorial on it.

there's a mold rubber also by smooth on that I would suggest.
