Yes, the mainstream ignores anything of value or meaning it seems....I have never read any Jean Gebser, but I have heard of the 'integral awareness' somewhere.... His ideas look very interesting, cheers for the heads up, I'll keep an eye out for that one

The texture in this piece is absolutely superb! (It reminds me of some of the brain coral that I've seen when I went diving off the coast of Queenslad, Australia.) I also love the colors chosen, they give a very 'earthy' feel to the piece.
