For those who haven't yet seen them, these are the symbols for use in Neo Redux. All 18 official types are represented, plus Cosmic, Sound, Light, and Cyber (respectively, on the bottom). They were included merely because they are some of the most commonly requested "fan-types," and I was asked to create symbols for them.
Don't ask me what the type matchup for those types would be, either. I haven't thought about it, and since they aren't types that I necessarily agree with, I don't really plan to!
I did alter the "official" colors to those more of my liking.
UPDATE 12/9/11:
Dragon symbol is now the official Dragon-type TCG symbol found in the upcoming Dragon Selection set.
UPDATE 5/23/13:
With the new Fairy-type Pokémon appearing in Pokémon X/Y, I decided to create a symbol for the type, based on Sylveon's bow.
HUGE UPDATE 6/1/13:
I've decided to completely update the way the symbols are presented (a bit more stylized). The names of the types are now found underneath the symbols as well. Bird-type has been removed in this version. Please download for full-view!
UPDATE 6/11/13:
Looks like Fairy-type is real! The new Eeveelution, Sylveon, is confirmed Fairy, and Jigglypuff, Marill, and Gardevoir have Fairy added onto their original types. Another new Pokémon, Flabébé, has also been shown (pure Fairy).

I tought of nautilus because it was gonna be my next fakemon, and because i dont like to "see the things as everyone does" for egsample: when thinking on psychic, many think on telekinesis, but i think in insanity (because it fits me XD) ... and a nautilus is my main description when thinking on archeology stuff... and the soul flame... i always liked this symbol... i did never understood what does it means, but it is mostly relacted with hidden things and arcane powers, and as thinking on "Arcane" many think in a magician rod or a potion vial... i think in the soul flame

Good news and bad...
Fossil turned out great, as did a recolor of Cosmic. Bad news is that every symbol I try for Arcane looks too similar to Dragon and/or Fire. Got any other ideas?
Additionally, what symbol would you like me to use for Cyber?
I can do a '???' symbol...do you want it to be a question mark, or do you have something else in mind?

...yes... i have many idea, i studied ocultism... an Omega, what you think ? it is my symbol to the psion element, or , if it dont end up good, a smiling/crying face from teatre half smiling, half crying, or also an yin-yang, a lotus flower or fleur de lis,what you think? i was studing ocultism for some time and these are some frequent symbol togheter with the piramid (All seeing eye) the eye of Lucifer (those egypsians)the upside-down star and the soul flame ( you dont think how many pokeballs i saw in there, and mickey mouse symbol... long story...guy, that lessons were so cool, i dunno why i stopped...)was in those lessons that i created my 15 elements...
well... i guess the unique symbol to ? is ? XD...and i dont have any ideas, my element equivalent to ???, Void, is also a question mark...but ??? could mean something hidden, occult, so if you like two of the arcanes, i guess it will fit to ??? too

Additionally, I chose the lime green (instead of the greenish-blue you described) as a nod to the color frequently seen in older computers.

Agreed 100%! And truthfully, I'd like at least some lines (like Clefairy's) to be pure Fairy-type...adding on Fairy is fine for Jigglypuff, but Clefairy strikes me as deserving of a total type recon.

I see where you're coming from, but besides the fact it evolves during the day, nothing in particular about Espeon's design strikes me as a would-be Light-type. I bet Gamefreak could come up with something even better to evolve/represent a Light-type Eeveelution!

Yeah, I'm just worried just because Umbreon's a Dark type, that they'll change Espeon's type, and I like Espeon as a Psychic type. If they make light types. And I totally agree! I bet a light type would look really cool

But yes, check the official Pokémon website...Fairy type is real, and known Fairy types include Jigglypuff, Marill, Gardevoir...and of course, Sylveon.

Sorry for the double post, but I just now watched the new trailer.
The Fairy type logo is a girly pink...just what I was afraid of. LOL.
I hope the Fairy type will also focus on Fae legends and such, instead of just stuff like bows and butterfly wings.
But Fairy is super-effective against Dragon, so I'm glad I was right about the type relation.

I thought it was a little weird at first, but then I was kinda hoping that it would be real, since I imagined it as sort of being related to the Dragon type.
I'm half-expecting there to be one more new type later on.
It's funny how it's finally been confirmed directly a month after my type chart. (May 11)

This. Is. Awesome! I love the icons you've got of the rest of the official types (except Rock, maybe), and for one of the few to come up with a Fairy type symbol, it is quite good!
New Sound and Light symbols looks a bit advanced in design, though, compared to the other elements.

The Rock-type symbol you see was actually first used as a representation of the rock field in the first season's league ([link] . As such, it's actually [slightly] official in that regard. I like it, at least! Many people use the Boulder Badge, so I think it's a bit overused.
As for Light and Sound being over-designed/advanced -- while I could see your logic behind Light (I even asked about that possibility at several forums I posted it), I think Sound is fine and fits in well with the other types. It's lines are simpler (and its individual parts larger) than several official symbols; Psychic (especially the crescent moon in the eye), Fighting (individually six parts), or even Grass (the misrib/veins in the middle). Even my Ice-type symbol seems more advanced. Then again, maybe it's just me since I've spent hours staring at all of the symbols. 
I'll work on a solution to Light, though! I'm looking for one that is different from what many others have used (trying to work in negative space)...suggestions?

Maybe it's just me who hate all Rock types. Nah, but I haven't found a single Rock symbol that I like, nor can I make one I like myself. For some reason, Rock is just so hard to make symbol for. (Haha, hard)
But about the Sound type. It's not that it uses too many parts, but rather its components. The other types just have one thing, a fist, an eye, an insect head, but Sound uses both sound wave lines and two actual waves. It seems, unbalanced, on the left and a bit complex, if you get what I mean. It's like adding more bolts to the Electric symbol. Just two waves is enough, I think.
Not sure about Light, there's many different ones out there. One that I think of is a four-point star with four "spikes" at each side... Well it's a bit hard to explain, but I can send a quick drawing on your profile so it's easier to see.

Haha yeah I had troubles with Rock types until I remembered the symbol used in-show.
As for Sound, I've tried numerous options and this proved to be the best result. I understand where you're coming from, but I don't really see it that way...it's all part of one sound wave, you're just seeing different parts of it. You're seeing both the physical representation (sound wave) as well as the symbolism of sound waves traveling through a medium to an ear (the actual waves...like on a volume control). It's supposed to have a double meaning to really hammer in the fact it represents Sound. I suppose it is unbalanced on one side, but so are other symbols (Dragon, Water). Sound perhaps more so, but thinking of the type and how it would work in-game (coming from a Pokémon and directed toward another), I think it's somewhat acceptable.
In any case, it think it fills the space well, and to me it doesn't look out of place compared to the other types (as custom type symbols tend to do).
I apologize for my little rant haha...I took perhaps more words than necessary to get my point across. Forgive me, it's early and I just woke up!

Sometimes I end up with something totally different than when I started, or not commenting at all, but I'd rather write something more well-thought than something fast and stupid.
And back on the topic --ish, I was wondering what a Cyber type TCG energy would look like (that's one of the types I'm using) and 'which something' should resemble it. Got any suggestions?

Haha, I agree completely! I usually read over my comments to make sure I'm getting my point across as best I can (and to ensure I'm not going to sound like an idiot!). I don't think enough people view commenting like we do.
Regarding your custom type, perhaps a stylized computer chip? I was thinking a vaguely square black shape, with negative space running through certain parts to represent the circuitry?

Hmm...maybe the universal power symbol? Or something based on a USB port? I dunno, just tossing ideas around and those were the first that came to my mind!
I'm not at home right now but if you give me a couple days I can try to come up with something! Perhaps even something that combines multiple ideas into something cohesive (but still simple!).
