HI GUYS I FINALLY DID A TUTORIALI definitely said I'd do this a long time ago but I never took enough screenshots for it. I recorded my process this time so I finally managed to get this done. I hope this is useful and teaches you something new

I think they produce quite different effects, so it depends on what you like. Definitely give it a try, it's a very different drawing experience from PS ^^

PS seems to be quite all-purpose, but I don't "dig" into all these additional options anyway.

I found your tutorial on the Popular page, and the second I enlarged the deviation and saw your example work at the beginning of the tutorial, I was like "asdfghjkl it's =im-promptu !!! "
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial that explains everything properly in a way that easily makes sense to the readers. Also, thank you for guiding us through every step of your colouring process and including your brush settings. Some tutorials plough through while skipping some details or forgetting to mention what brush settings they are using, but you included everything clearly and even have a video process
I don't know what else to say, but I'll definitely take this tutorial to heart and try my best to apply what I've learned from your tutorial to my future artworks!

Great tutorial! I was wondering, many artists use SAI and Photoshop, whereas I'm only using Photoshop. How does it help to use both of the programs? I might consider learning SAI too xD

Thank you! SAI has a different system of blending, it feels a bit like traditional painting and ends up looking different than painting in Photoshop, it depends on what suits your style so you should give it a try, they have a free trial

Perhaps one day with this tutorial I can finally do at least ONE digitally painted picture as opposed to just flat colors. I love it, very informative and guiding, having essentially everything one needs to use this tutorial properly.
