Last of the series of fanart sketch pages I did back in 1998. Cohen continues to be one of my favorite characters, even after The Last Hero, and everyone loves The Librarian.While it's been established that the Librarian does not have the cheek pads of a dominant male orangutan, I don't know that I really got him right, here... perhaps I should have actually used reference or something, yes? As it is, I think I drew him looking as much like a chimpanzee as an orangutan.
I made a terrible error when I tossed the script around Cohen's sword... won't do that twice. It makes it very difficult to read properly. Lesson learned.

Thanks! I've actually been thinking about doing a set of the Aching books, but I'm waiting for the fourth to come out at the end of the year so I can see how it all wraps up.

It could happen... I did some itty-bitty thumbnails of Tiffany Aching a while ago, but never scanned them. I have been getting the urge to do something Disc-related, though, so it's probably just a matter of time. The next book ,Making Money, is coming out in October, after all.

Glad to help! Pratchett, god bless him, is pretty reliable about releasing at least one book every year. This year we get a new Moist Von Lipwig novel... Moist was the "hero" of Going Postal, and now that he's fixed up the Ankh-Morpork mail system, the Patrician seems intent on putting Moist in charge of the Ankh-Morpork Mint, which is more than a bit like giving a fox the keys to the henhouse. Should be a bunch of fun.

Nicely done Cohen but I agree that you could have the Librarian a lot better, most consideerably he should be bigger, he's supposed to weigh 300 pounds. Also his knee is bending the wrong way and it's creeping me out.

The Cohen is really good but, sorry to be critical, but the Librarian isnt what I would have hoped for.... But thats just one boys view! Its still very good, I just think its a bit too much of a Zoo-like orangutan, not 'wild' enough . .. ? Ill just shut up now...
