*Frost starts firing a rapid amount of Ice Spikes, but holding her ground. She gets off about ten per second, making the air hum with the activity. The spikes arn't accurate, but they are overwhelmingly fast and numerous.

*Frost adds in her own element too the spikes hurling at her, and they shudder too a stop, quivering in the air as they try too force the spikes towards one another. Finally, the spikes disintegrate into snow from their force.
Frost: Come on Ragnaor, your holding back! You've clearly got far more power than I do, but as you've seen, I can counter everything you throw at me! Your fire element has it's weekness, which is my element, and using your Ice against me is literally useless, sense I control that element as well, and I've thought up almost every Ice Attack in the book! Theres only one other option you have! Melee combat!

*Frost's body keels over, stiff as a board and lifeless as a rock. Upon hitting the ground, the apparition burst's into a cloud of snow, leaving nothing but a pile of small translucent spikes that had once been the back and tail spikes of the dragoness.*
Ragnaor: What the... ?
*All of a sudden, a tail wraps around his neck, ending in a very large translucent spike that is held directly under his chin.*
Frost: Checkmate. How did you like my decoy, Ragnaor? That's the reason I threw up the blizzard. That's the reason I held back. I assure you, this isn't my only good trick in the book, as Tanrel can attest too. The body was made out of pure snow, while the stomach scales were made from a slush. The spikes were nothing but solid Ice. It didn't need to look much like me, because of the blizzard, I simply hid behind the statue, and you felt me where the statue was. Your greatest strength was also your greatest weakness. I really wish I didn't have too ask, but, do you give up?

Nice move
*Ragnaor chuckled and grabed Frosts tail with both front claws, one held the spike and the other held closer to her body, twisting as he stood on his hind legs, he unwrapped her tail from around his neck, he pulls her to him and smiles at her* only because i'm hungry.

Tanrel: Well, that's open for debate. If I had to I could probably hold her off without too much dificulty. *opens his wings, sowing off the jagged blades growing from the leading edges* I'm no stranger to combat, although I'm sure that Frost gives the term 'fatal beauty' a more literal meaning.

*The area around them goes black. Images start appearing before Frost; memories and scenes from her past flash before her eyes as every thought that ever passed through her head echoes around her and Tanrel*
Tanrel: I can see into your mind, your memories, your past, all as if it were a book. I know your pleasures...
*the images vanish, and suddenly everything goes black. The only illumination comes Tanrel himself; a discordant, purple-ish ultraviolet light that contrasts sharply with his glowing neon green eyes*
Tanrel: ...And your fears. I can force my foes to relive their worst experiences, and to suffer their greatest terrors, and all without lifting a talon.
*He wraps his long, triple-bladed tail around her foreleg, and they appear in a sun-lit meadow*
Tanrel(withdrawing his tail) : I can also teleport, or Jump, as they call it at the TGM. Sorry about the contact, I know you don't like to be touched, but it was necessary for the demonstration.

Insane-Randomness In reply to Adurnak [2010-03-05 01:57:38 +0000 UTC]
Frost: Impressive, but unneeded. I already live my fears every night in my sleep, so it is nothing new. We all live fears. As for teleporting, I can't preform it myself, but I have experienced the sensation. Still feels a little weird. Still, I was expecting something a bit more dramatic, what with the "I'm not new too combat" and all.

Tanrel: If I were to truly use the full extent of my powers against you, then I doubt that you would retain your sanity. And anyway, why do powers need to be dramatic to be effective? Why do they have to be destructive? The most powerful being that I know, a human by the name Samuel Longbow Fleetwood, is not powerful because he can kill, but because he can save lives. He has stopped wars before first blood was drawn, saving thousands in the process.
*They appear in a massive, empty room.*
Tanrel: But if its dramatic that you want, so be it.
*thousands of shadowy forms, all of themm training targets made of steel and shadow energy, begin to manifest around them. Tanrel closes his eyes, and black energy begins arking over him. His skin begins to glow with a discordant light bordering the ultraviolet, his horns, talons, wingblades, and tailblades burn a dark crimson, and his crest and flight membrains shine a brilliant neon blue.*
Tanrel: You want dramatic? How's THIS for dramatic?
*He lets the energy loose in a massive explosion, atomizing the targets in colosal wave of power that leaves Frost untouched.*
Tanrel(panting heavily, exausted): That dramatic enough for you, Frost?

Insane-Randomness In reply to Adurnak [2010-03-05 17:43:53 +0000 UTC]
Frost: Hmm, much more like it! My turn.
*Thousands of Dark figures appear again, only this time, there made out of a dark blue ice. Frost then Conjures thousands of tiny Ice particles, sharp as needles, and one deft sweep of her wing, sends them all flying in different directions. In a matter of a couple of milliseconds, the spikes reach near luminous velocities, refracting light as they travel. Several miss Tanrel by a hairs breadth, flowing around him as a rock would flow over water. All strike the intended targets, and all targets are destroyed, and, instead of fracturing into pieces, disintegrates the targets into clouds of dust. The dust hangs in the air, shrouding them in weather conditions similar too snow.
Frost(Unseen): You see, the idea of combat, which is indeed what we are talking about, isn't about power. Indeed, you need some power, but it matters not how much power you have, but how you use it. The victor in any engagement will only be determined by how ingenious each combatant is. Besides, against training targets is one thing. Anyone can hit a target. Against another living being is something else.
*The snow begins too roar around them as Frost tenses, moving with her breathing. Whiteout conditions ensue, leaving both of them bathed in nothing but pure white. Frost can still sense Tanrel through the movements of the swirling snow. Visibility is limited to only a few inches.
Frost: So have at it, worthy opponent Tanrel!
*The snow drops to the floor, revealing Frost diving through the air towards the iridescent dragon, not with the intent too kill, but with the intent of a sparring match, too give it their all.

*the lights flicker, then die as Tanrel launches himself into the air and shoots past her, pecking her on the cheek as he zips by, then swatting her upside the head with the tip of his tail before leting his glow vanish and blending in with the darkness completely. *Frost throws herself into a spin, sheathing herself in a case of ice, and slams into the wall of energy. Instead of a hole being punched through the wall, the energy is absorbed into the ice, and frost throws spikes out of the casing, sending the enrgy in rays across the arena. One happens too scrape Tanrel, and out of shock more than anything, the light returns to the arena, revealing Tanrel hovering above the Ice dragoness, who shatters the casing, sending most of the fragments at the ethereal creature.

*Tanrel twirles around, wingblades hissing as most of the shards shatter on the resulting funnel of energy. A few make it through to leave bloody furrows along one side of the Black Razor-Wing dragon, but he shruges off the pain.*
Tanrel: Not bad.
*The lights die again, and the tempurature in the arena begins to clime rapidly. Tanrel makes a second pass, this time kissing Frost on the mouth on the way by before grabing her tail in his jaws and throwing her across the room. Within seconds he has her by the tail again, and sends her spinning wildly across the room.*

*Forst rebounds each time, absorbing the shock as she hits the wall, jumping off again, the second time, she magaes too catch another blow, cloose too the first one, using her tail spade. Again the dragon shrugs it off.
Frost: Not bad yourself.
*Frost counters the increasing heat with her own power, cooling the room, and keeping it at an even temperature. Her tail is in pain from the double bite marks, but she too pushes the pain aside, and, using a cloud of snow too see, charges the space where the dragon is, forming and throwing Ice spikes while flying.

*A sudden burst of energy sends the snow back into her face, along with the ice spikes. Tanrel is seconds behind the wave of energy, ramming her hard in the gut before slamming her down on her back. He wraps his tail around her neck, the three blades pressing gently but firmly against her throat.*
Tanrel(panting): Do you yield?

Frost(smiling): Hardly
*The temperature in the room drops to Absolute Zero in an instant, not harming the celestial dragon, but stopping all kinetic energy in it's tracks and keeping anything from moving. Frost gently unweaves the black dragons tail from her neck, breathing to let air into her lungs. She's aware that the dragon is still thinking, but the only thing that is happening is the movement of light, so he both hears nothing nor feels anything physically, he can only see and react mentally to his surroundings.
Frost: That was a bit close for comfort.

?????: You fight well, young'un. It's not every day that someone is able to as much as hold their own against Tanrel.
*Light returns to the room, revealing a huge metalic silver dragon, twenty feet in length and clad in armor so black that light seems to fall into it. The dragon's talons are the color of the darkest onyx, and it two swept-back horns and sword-like tailblade are the same dark color.*
?????: Perhaps you two should return to the meadow, Frost, before your friend freezes.
*A briliant light illuminates the room, and suddenly Frost and Tanrel are back in the forest clearing. Tanrel, able to move again, lets out an aw-struck gasp.*

Tanrel: The Time-Master is ruler and overseer ov the combined multiverse. He watches over every plane of existance, every dimention, every universe, every world, and every race. His Apprentice is something of an ambasitor, traveling from world to world and universe to universe, keeping peace and helping indeviduals. The current Time-Apprentice also commands the Time Guard Military, so once he graduates to the rank of Traveler he'll be one of the most powerful and influential being in the multiverse.
