Out of the 3 successful Disney animated TV shows, Gravity Falls is the most popular, with thousands of people praising this show as one of the best shows of not only this decade, but also of all times. It’s one of the many examples of why the 2010s isn’t a terrible decade after all.
I have watched a few episodes of the show back when it first aired on Disney Channel (Season 1 to be exact). The only episodes I’ve watched from Gravity Falls are Tourist Trapped, The Legend of the Gobblewonker, Headhunters, The Hand that Rocks the Mabel, The Inconveniencing, and Dipper vs. Manliness. Yeah, that’s all I know about my memories with the show before I reviewed it.

But now that I've reviewed it after Wander Over Yonder, what are my thoughts? My final thoughts are like everyone else's: Everything about this show is fantastic from its appeal, creativity, cool animation, and unforgettable and likeable characters. And because that I told you guys this, I won't go into detail about my thoughts about the show.

However, I'm not done with my summary yet, because I'd like to explain why this show gets a divine (81%):

First of all, I loved the show's 2 seasons because it has enough potential for a strong recommendation. Pretty much every episode looked promising, no matter if it's okay or not, this show will deliver us tasty treats of entertainment filled with humor and suspense. What I didn't like about the show is the unnecessary subplots. They don't really lead to anything and they're just there to give the characters something to do. Even worse is that they're just generically dull with barely any entertaining or special moments that rather forces me to skip a medium portion of the episode.

For some reason, some of the show's episodes reminds me of your typical episode of Scooby-Doo, where it's all about solving the mystery, but a monster comes in and tries to capture those who were investigating the crime scene. Even if those creatures have a backstory about how it happened, it does make sense, but it gets pretty predictable fast about how it's going to be (Northwest Mansion Mystery).

Another reason why this show was weighed down to a divine is the shorts. Absolutely nothing special is about them. They're there to get the laughs from the audience. Even though there are a few exceptions that I enjoyed, others are rather dull and fairly pointless. That's probably the main reason why Mabel's Scrapbook is so mediocre in my opinion.

But even with the flaws, this is still a very enjoyable show. No matter how bad the characters can get (actually the characters weren't bad afterwards), the creative story and cool-looking animation is there to entertain us all. So you see, that's why this show is just divine. Its flaws are leaning toward in the middle between minor and major, but with Gravity Falls outstanding pros, the show becomes perfectly balanced with the right amount of episodes I don't recommend, along with some blessed episodes on the way.
