Russell Brand... who you're probably only likely to know of if your face resides in the UK...... If this doesn't look much like him, then blame the fact that I didn't copy any part of this from any one image in order to avoid copyright breakage!
It's for my version of a Radio Times article.
Indian ink (mental note to self - do not use again) and coffee (for the "age spots" on the paper)

My only crit would be his leg on the left of the picture. It's way thicker than all his other limbs and drawn differently.

I love the colouration of the clothing. I also really like the angle. It makes this piece quite interesting and adds to the feeling of movement. It's also nice that you kept to only a few colours.
Even though I don't know of this fellow, I like this piece. Very nicely composed and executed.

OH MY GOD. I CAN'T DO ANYTHING OTHER THAN EXPRESS MYSELF IN CAPS. ANT THIS IS SO COOL. I've only seen Russell Brand on talk shows ... I *desperately* need to see some of his stand-up ... we were talking about him in work the other day! Apparently he did this show where he just read out the Sun. Well ... the Sun is funny anyway, but imagine him reading it ...

Erm... the painting itself took the entire day to do cos I had to keep waiting for things to dry and layering and layering the indian ink on to make the colour vivid enough... It was painstaking! >___< I did a lot of different rough versions though in pencil, which also took time... makes me wish I painted with the computer!
